Script Analysis: Unlocking Depth and Meaning

Script Analysis is designed for the committed actor who is dedicated to mining the script for depths and layers of meaning hidden within the text. Multiple modalities are used to fill the actor’s tool belt with many new skills to carve depth and richness into the work. Actors will learn structure, beat work, tactics, archetypal gesture, character, subtext, impulse response, and much, much more.

The infrastructure work is balanced by constant testing of discoveries and theories on our feet with the text. We implement these through multiple tactics including in-class group exercises, coaching, at-home work, and rehearsal. Get ready for a game-changer!

Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

Time commitment: Google Meets on Monday nights, 6-9PM plus at-home study.
