California Suite Auditions

Audition Dates- December 1 and 2 at 7pm
Callbacks- Decemeber 4
Those auditioning should arrive a few minutes early to fill out paperwork. All those auditioning should be 18 years or older at the time of the first rehearsal. Be prepared to read from the audition sides or possibly from the script. Auditionees will also need to fill out a background check and a volunteer form for this season. If you would like to do this before the auditions please go to www.kazoocivic.com and go to the get involved tab to find the appropriate paperwork. Those auditioning only need sign up for one day of auditions.
Rehearsals are Monday through Friday 7-10 Dec 16 through Dec 20, 2025 and January 2 through February 14, 2025.
Tech is February 16 through February 20,2025
Performances are February 21 through March 2, 2025 with possible holdover performances through March 9, 2025.

Cinderella Usher Sign Up
Those ushering will need to arrive approximately 1:15 minutes before curtain. This time is represented on the usher signup. All who usher must submit a volunteer participation form once a season (from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025). All volunteers over the age of 18 must submit a background check form once a season.
Usher are expected to wear black, white or a combination of these colors. Please no t-shirts with logos or items with holes in them should be worn to usher in.
Ushers are the first representation to our patrons. Please come prepared to work and assist patrons with their needs. Bring a smile, a happy attitude, and ready to serve the customers that walk through the doors of the Civic.
Those under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult to usher. Those not able to attend their schedule shifts need to contact the Director of Volunteers, Mike Artis at 269-548-3031 by 5pm the day of their shift. After 5pm please call 269-343-1313 to notify the box office that you will not be able to attend. Those with multiple absences without notification (3 or more) will need to call the Director of Volunteers to schedule usher shifts for upcoming show.

Well Usher Signup
Ushes are expected to arrive 1 hour prior to curtain in the Carver Center Space. Mentors need to arrive 1:15 minutes prior to curtain. Those that need to cancel or are sick are required to call the Civic to notify of your absence. Call Mike Artis if you know in advance that will not be able to make your shift at 269-548-3031. If it is the day of your scheduled usher shift please call 269-343-1313 and leave a message for the front of house to let them know of your absence.
Ushers are expected to enter through the doors located to the right of the car underpass. When entering please make sure to sign in for your position and fill out the appropriate paperwork if it is required next to your name.
Ushers please wear closed toed shoes and business casual attire. No shorts or tee shirts with logos on them. No specific colors are required any longer for attire.
Those wishing to work concessions need to be over the age of 18 years of age.
Parking is allowed in any of the parking lots associate with the Civic. Onstreet parking is also allowed. Parking in business or organization lots around the Civic is parking at your own risk.
